Socialite Paris Hilton is set to launch a new career as a DJ in front of thousands of fans in Brazil this summer.

Hilton will perform at the Pop Music Festival in Sao Paulo in June, following appearances by singers Jennifer Lopez and Kelly Clarkson. She will hit the booth for an hour-long show.

“I have been a part of the music scene and club scene since I was 15. It’s something I have been passionate about and have come to respect very much. I am very excited to share all of my hard work with the world,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

Hilton is also perfecting her turntable skills with the help of boyfriend and international DJ Afrojack, who she joined on stage at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida in March.

AFTER recently moving to Sydney from Rockhampton, Tahnee Chapman’s dream ended before it even began thanks to Paris Hilton.

It was the professional dancer/model’s first night podium dancing at the nightclub Marquee at The Star Sydney last Saturday when the incident occurred.

Tahnee, 25, who entered the RALPH Australian Swimsuit Model of the Year contest at Rockhampton’s Zodiac Nightclub in February, said she was asked to go up on the podium to hand out glow sticks and dance with three other girls when Paris Hilton joined them, she told The Sunday Telegraph.

However, Tahnee has accused Paris Hilton of getting her the sack after she was dancing too close to the American socialite.

“I wasn’t being provocative. My style is described as sultry.

“It involves grinding and moving – I was shaking my bum a bit and my costume had tassels on it,” Tahnee said.

“The only reason I danced next to her was because there was no room.

“I was actually looking out for her because her heel kept slipping on the edge.”

Tahnee was hired as a dancer by Elite Podium Dancers, which her good friend Clare McCann runs.

Ms Chapman had a week’s grace as a tableaux performer.

Ms McCann told The Sunday Telegraph: “Tahnee Chapman was not fired, she was on a trial as a sub-contractor for a promotional model and failed to perform her job description.”

Paris Hilton was seen leaving as a fight broke out on the street outside Madeo restaurant in West Hollywood on Thursday night.

The fight started with an argument involving a waiter and the paparazzi, reports Rumour Fix. A paparazzo can be heard in the video tape telling the waiter not to push him.

As Paris drove off in her red vehicle with her sister Nicky Hilton in the passenger’s seat, the waiter appeared to slap the paparazzo in the face. The paparazzo then dropped his equipment, goes after the waiter and started physically fighting with him.

When the waiter ran away from the fight, he knocked into a couple standing on the curb, causing the husband to go after the waiter.

Back in November, the Hiltons’ younger brother Conrad Hilton was involved in a small car accident when his vehicle collided with several parked cars in California.

Paris is currently working on a new album, which she has described as “perfect party music”.

Paris Hilton is probably staying true to herself as the singer recently got an upcoming single leaked. Titled “Drunk Text”, she spokes to every drunk girl –texting- out there.

“Drunk Text” was leaked together with a video sometime in late February. The electro-pop house beat is under Paris Hilton’s own words. The singer uses of spoken word (something like Ke$ha) to “sing” (or better, “say”) the words in the song.

The only element of attention is Paris Hilton herself, as noted by a MTV reviewer. Focusing on red lipstick stained mouth spoken word, the “Drunk Text” has even references to casinos in Australia, when the singer tells an story of when she was at an Australian casino and sent some cellphone message texts to a guy she was into.

Hilton was seen at The Grammy Awards observing successful singers and that was when she said she is trying it again with her failed singing career. The singer has joined forces with Afrojack, Pitbull and Flo Rida who are all involved in the development of the singer’s upcoming second studio album effort set to be released sometime between late 2012 and late 2013, despite Hilton herself, her label (which she owns) and her publicist having never confirmed the release date info.

The newest rumor in the Paris Hilton world is that the singer might actually take a part at an upcoming season of Real Housewives. But wait, is Paris Hilton a real housewife? And as we know she isn’t, why would she be included in such show?

It’s no mystery that the Beverly Hills season of Real Housewives (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which airs on paid TV channel Bravo) features a bunch of socialites, which are married to rich man, and it’s not a surprise to see that any of them might have some kind of relationship with the most popular Hilton heir.

Actually, Kyle and Kim Richards (two of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star) are related to Paris Hilton’s mom; it is shocking that the party hard socialite has never made an appearance at the TV show as she is such a reality tv star.

Kylie and Kim have said in an interview that Hilton had never appeared on the TV show due to problems with image rights as her agents and other people who deal with her image hadn’t allowed her to make an appearance as in the episode she would be showing she was talking about the bonus of a casino. Hilton has since the interview got published said that she does not regret anything related to casino activities and she encourages her fans and everyone else to always have some great time at such places.

The Richards have said they have another Hilton appearance on tape that could air on an upcoming season.
