New York Post: Socialite Paris Hilton said Wednesday that she had hired two bodyguards to patrol her LA property 24-hours-a-day, following a “very scary” home invasion by a man armed with two large knives.

Nathan Lee Parada, 31, is accused of attempting to break into Hilton’s mansion inside a gated community in Sherman Oaks, Calif., in August and faces one count of felony burglary.

He is due in court for a preliminary hearing Wednesday, following a previous not guilty plea.

“It’s scary someone comes into my home like that, where I’ve always felt so safe,” Hilton told showbiz website RadarOnline. “I’ve really upped security, I’ve installed the best security systems available … laser beams, cameras everywhere, I have two 24 hour bodyguards that are always on property, so that’s never going to happen again.”

She credited her boyfriend Cy Waits, 34, who pulled a gun on the attacker and forced him to the ground until cops arrived on the scene.

“This crazy man with two huge knives was trying to bang through my windows and come in,” she said. “God knows what he was going to do … The cops took a little while to get there, so he [Waits] literally had to hold him with a gun down on the floor and get the knives away. It was like something out of a movie. He is definitely my hero.”

Police detained another intruder found on the doorstep of Hilton’s property last week.

Hilton said she had never met Parada before he allegedly broke in, but was told that he found her house using a star map he brought on Hollywood Boulevard.

CBS News: Paris Hilton’s security team was tested once again after a man managed to sneak past the guarded gate of her Los Angeles home and proceed to her front door.

Police spokesman Bruce Borihanh says James Rainford cruised through the gated entrance to Hilton’s home on his bike at about noon Tuesday.

He took his ten-speed up to the front door of the heiress’ home and proceeded to knock on the door, perhaps thinking he and Hilton were BFFs.

However, security saw thing differently and ordered Rainford off the property, reports TMZ.

When the gate-crasher declined and began to resist, the security detail restrained Rainford until LAPD officers arrived.

Rainford was arrested on suspicion of assault on the guard and was being booked at the LAPD’s Van Nuys station. He is being held on $20,000 bail.

In another recent close encounter involving Hilton, in August a man wielding two knives showed up outside the socialite’s home. Nathan Lee Parada has pleaded not guilty in that case to a felony, attempted residential burglary.

Paris Hilton has a new BFF in her life – and this one is only seven years old!

As RadarOnline.com revealed, the hotel heiress is proving to be a stand-in mother for the daughter of her boyfriend Cy Waits.

And in her first interview about her new role, Paris has told RadarOnline.com exclusively: “I absolutely love this little girl, she is so adorable and precious!”

“I have a new BFF… and we spend time with Shae, who is seven-years-old, every weekend in Las Vegas.

It’s a sudden change of pace for the reformed hard partier, who has had her fair share of drama in recent time.

“We spend time together as a family, Cy takes us out to the movies and we take Shae to school on Monday mornings,” Paris told RadarOnline.com.

“We are in Las Vegas every weekend to spend time with her.”

The couple has been spending time with Shea – out of the spotlight – and without glare of onlookers.

“Shae is so smart and we love spending time together,” Paris told RadarOnline.com.

“We go shopping, I take her to the pet store and to the arcade. We take her to the Circus Circus amusement park. We do normal things.”

While Paris is not yet officially a ‘step-mom’, she has made no secret, in the past, about wanting to take on mommy dearest duties.

“It’s been my dream to have four babies by 30,” the heiress, 29, boasted a few years ago.

A source close to Cy told RadarOnline.com: “Cy has never introduced a a girlfriend to Shae before… this is a very serious relationship.”

The confidante added, “Cy is extremely protective of Shae and just doesn’t introduce her casually to anyone.

“Paris and Cy are closer and happier than ever before.”

Three years after “The Simple Life” ended, the heiress is set to return to TV with a new Oxygen Media series, tentatively titled “The New Untitled Paris Hilton Project.” And unlike Paris’s jaunts with Nicole Richie, the new show aims to prove that Hilton’s life is anything but simple.

“Paris is magnetic in such a way that viewers are naturally curious about her and think they know her based on what they see in the media,” said Amy Introcaso-Davis, Oxygen Media VP of Original Programming and Development, in a statement.

“The New Untitled Paris Hilton Project” seems to be trying to that notion.

The show will focus specifically on Hilton’s relationships with four of her closest friends. They will be Brooke Mueller (Charlie Sheen’s wife), Jennifer Rovero (Hilton’s photographer, and former Playboy model and ex-girlfriend of Fred Durst) and fellow socialite Allison Melnick.

Introcaso-Davis elaborated that the point of the show would be less to build up Hilton’s celebrity image than to dismantle it and show the woman behind the celebrity.

“We’re looking to truly bring an all-encompassing look at her life, friends, family, and relationships, all that’s not represented every day,” she said. “It’s going to be a fascinating journey.”

AceShowbiz: After pleading guilty to cocaine possession following her arrest in Las Vegas in August, Paris Hilton reportedly will begin her court-ordered community service in the next couple of weeks, Radar Online reported. A source close to Paris told the site that the 29-year-old socialite will likely serve the community work by devoting herself to animals.

“Paris will most likely be doing her community service at a local animal shelter, or working with animals,” the source said. Paris has also been reportedly warned by her friends and family “not to bring home the stray animals because she can’t stand to see an animal in distress.”

The source mentioned that Paris has been serious about helping the animals even though she hasn’t started the community service yet. After learning that rabbits are used to feed snake, the hotel heiress was said rescuing “some rabbits from a pet store that were going to end up as food for snakes. Paris would love to work to end this.”

Paris recently visited sick kids at The Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, in a bid to put her cocaine arrest behind her. On her Twitter page, Paris also revealed her plan “to do art” with the children this week. On her hospital visit, the source commented, “Paris gets so much from the time she spends with the children. Paris has such admiration for the brave parents that are dealing with so much.”

Paris Hilton formally entered the guilty plea to one drug-related misdemeanor on September 20. She also pleaded guilty to one charge of lying to a police officer as following her August arrest, she claimed the purse, in which police officers found the cocaine, was not hers and said that she first thought the substance was gum.

Paris Hilton cannot enter Japan. The socialite has been sent back to the U.S.A. after six hours of questioning that ended up on her visa getting denied.

The socialite had press conferences and other public appearances on the Asian country to promote her latest fragrance, “Tease” and her fashion line.

Paris was denied entrance due to Japan strict immigration laws that dismiss those convicted of drug offenses (regarding her Las Vegas arrest, and later, her guilty plea).

Paris also had plans to visit other Asian countries: Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Malaysia. All her promotion scheduled in the continent has been canceled. Her publicist released a press note regarding the incident: “Paris is very disappointed and fought hard to keep her business commitments and see her fans, but she is forced to postpone her commitments in Asia. She understands and respects the rules and laws of the immigration authorities in Japan and fully wishes to cooperate with them.”

Paris Hilton will face a Las Vegas judge today (September 20) where she is going to accept a plea deal to avoid going to jail, one of the prosecutors told CNN.

The socialite will enter guilty pleas on two misdemeanor counts to avoid the court drug charge for her being arrested by possession of cocaine on August 27 in Las Vegas.

Hilton would get two six-month jail terms which will be suspended due to the agreement. She will now, probably, be under probation for an year, if Paris doesn’t stay out of trouble, she will go to jail in Clark County, Nevada for a whole year.

Digital Spy UK: Paris Hilton has reportedly adopted 20 rabbits after she learnt that the bunnies were being sold as snake food.

The heiress insisted on buying the animals from a pet shop and said that they are “happy” in her backyard.

Hilton wrote on Twitter: “Feeding My Bunnies a Late Night Snack (sic).

“The bunnies were meant to be feeders. I saw them at the pet store and they told me they were for snake food and I had to save them.”

“I rescued 20 of them. They are now happy living in my backyard. They are all so happy, so nice to have changed their fate.”

The paparazzi caught Paris Hilton shopping in Maui, Hawaii on September 6th 2010 with a man (we don’t know who).

Celebrity socialite Paris Hilton was arrested in Las Vegas on Friday night (August 27) for alleged cocaine possession, reports The Associated Press.

Paris Hilton was inside a Cadillac Escalade which was pulled by a police officer near the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas at around 11:30 P.M. after the officer detected a smell of marijuana coming out of the SUV.

The driver was found to be driving under the influence (not specified by the press note released from the police if it was drug, alcohol or both).

Hilton and her friends were taken to Clark County jail and the socialite was released early this Saturday morning (August 28).

According to TMZ, Paris Hilton told the police that the purse containing cocaine didn’t belong to her.

The driver is currently being held under custody.

Last month, Hilton was detained over a FIFA World Cup match in South Africa for possession of marijuana, the charges were later dropped.
