Brazil’s Secretariat for Women’s Affairs is considering the tv campaign Paris Hilton did for brazilian beer “Devassa” too raunchy and derogatory, she said on a press release: “It’s an ad that devalues women – in particular, blond women. The problem with the ad isn’t a lack of clothing, but its sensual nature.” The tv tagline says “Bem devassa, bem loura”, which translates in English to something similar to: “Too nasty (or bitch), too blond”. The secretariat wants to censor the 1-minute long commercial (watch the commercial above). |
